Hi folks, I am wondering about a couple of birds I saw this month in Vegas, could anyone help identifying/confirming please? The first one looks like a hybrid btw a mallard and something else, is the second a northern mockingbird and the third one a Western Tanager? Any help would be much appreciated...

Hi, welcome to the forum on behalf of the staff and moderators. I think you will find us a friendly and helpful group.

I’m not sure of any of the IDs, so will move this to the Bird ID forum where you should get a lot of help. I am also going to change the title to reflect the area.

Welcome to the forum.

1. Domestic / farmyard mallard;
2. Yes, Northern Mockingbird;
3. I think you are right with Western Tanager.
