Does anyone have any info on birds in the desert region around Tabernas,Almeria please?.Species and times would be most useful as I know the area.

Hi Garry
It is probably worth a pm to desgreene as he is currently out in Almeria and will be back tomorrow (Sunday). He spent a few days with me before heading south for 10 days in that area so will have some good information on Cabo de Gata, Las Norias, etc.
He may not see this as he tends to delete all his posts on returning from a trip abroad.
Also John Butler's excellent book 'Birdwatching on Spain's Southern Coast' second addition has a section on Almeria and is very good value for money.

Hope this helps,
regards Jules
