Birdwatching near Padua and Venice in August (1 Viewer)

Rob Williams

Well-known member
Not the best time of year for a birdwatching trip I know. However this year's family holiday will be based near Padua, with trips planned to Venice and to the mountains to the north.

I will be able to fit in some birdwatching so if anyone has any ideas for places to go I would be most obliged.

Thanks,

Rob

You could still visit the Po delta (see the other thread) - we have never been in August, but I guess it would be good for passing waders and most of the resident/breeding species would still be there. I can PM you the sites if you wish. Also I could forward your RFI to the EBN-Italy mailing list and see if any locals are able to help.In which case you would have to PM me your email so that they could get straight back to you.
