Hi all,
when I visited Manu road in Nov, 2011, I got pictures of a bird that at those times was identified as Black-goggled Tanager (Trichothraupis melanops).
In version 12.2, IOC has added Inti Tanager (Heliothraupis oneilli), closely related to Black-goggled Tanager, but morphologically and phylogenetically distinctive species.
It could be present in Kosñipata road aka Manu Road in its nonbreeding range.
I do not know if November is or not nonbreeding season for this bird.
In case it is nonbreeding season, anybody may separate Black-goggled Tanager vs. Inti Tanager from a picture.
Regards,
