Greetings. I took this photo at the end of May at the Kinebatangun nature lodge in Borneo. I'm guessing it's a young barbet, but which one? Blue eared? Thanks for your help!

Yes, I think it's a juvenile Blue-eared. Plain grey head and quite small-billed.

I wasn't sure what the definitive characters are for this age but judging by photos I agree it seems likely. Some other candidates have at least some colour splodges from the start which we don't see here
