My wife and I went on a sailing excursion off of the coast of San Diego. After watching a whale surface right alongside the 39 foot sailboat we tacked and followed her out into the ocean. After a double deck party left the area the whale put on a breaching show that was fabulous. The captain said it was a california grey whale.
