Company "Birding In Morocco" Any experience with this group? (1 Viewer)

I may be in Marrakech in February and have been checking in with this group Birding in Morocco. They have a nice website but I cannot find anyone who has traveled with them although they have good reviews on Trip Advisor.

Finished a trip with Birding in Morocco in March. I spent five days (just my wife and I and the driver and guide Yassine. Logistics were excellent as well as accommodations. I was able to see all my target birds with the exception of Cream-colored Courser (scarce this year for some reason) and Crimson-winged Finch which were limited to the extreme elevation due to lack of snow and the drought this year. Please respond if you have any questions about the company or our trip.

Yassine gets very good reviews. My wife & I are going to Marrakech late September [2025] & we are hoping to have a day trip to the Atlas Mountains for the birds. Could you tell me how to contact him for a similar guided trip?

I have just found the company on google. What I am trying to arrange is simply a one day guided birding trip for my wife & I from Marrakech to the Atlas & I guess this would not be what the company does? Would this be the case?

I think there is a danger in Morocco that if you are just looking for a single day at peak birding times, they might bump you off if more lucrative, longer bookings come in. It happened to me in Morocco with Otman from 'Birding Tours Morocco' who are based in Merzouga, and it has happened to others too not necessarily with this company. They didn't inform me and I was later told my guide failed to show as he was in hospital. Fair enough but a day later he led a group in the area. Thankfully, Hotel Yasmina managed to arrange a last-minute stand in.

Not trying to put you off, but just beware. Understandably, profit is everything.
