Added another 9 birds to the year count,haven't seen flooding this bad for a long time birds around this area, 10 pied wagtail, 50c Fieldfare Jackdaws, Rooks, C,Crows,23 BHGS, Herring Gull, Heron, Cormorant, Dunnock, Chaffinch,2 male Blackcap

A Peregrine flew over between Salwarpe and Ladywood and headed down the valley this morning

Nice morning walk to porter's Mill, tapenhall pond mute swans,5 mallard, grey heron,others linnet flock and 15 Canada geese.
Other highlights 3 cettis warbler ( 1 seen just up from lock 5).Also had siskin in the alders with Goldfinch.
 
A Little Egret between Salwarpe and Ladywood this morning plus 5 Grey Herons
Peregrine on pylon in the same area

1 Snipe flew from the canal-side near Tapenhall

Generally slim pickings and little reward for a c8 mile walk.
