13 Waxwings showing near Hunt Green Cottages near Tapenhall sporadically.
Great White Egret earlier over near Salwarpe headed down the valley

Grid ref for Waxwings SO 858 613. Landed briefly in garden of Hunt Green farm but spooked and haven't seen since. Ive headed off now but still some photographers present

Good start to the year, missed the waxwings today,large tree in Droitwich woods not vertical after storms (photo). Canal nearly as dirty as my car

Added another 9 birds to the year count,haven't seen flooding this bad for a long time birds around this area, 10 pied wagtail, 50c Fieldfare Jackdaws, Rooks, C,Crows,23 BHGS, Herring Gull, Heron, Cormorant, Dunnock, Chaffinch,2 male Blackcap

Nice morning walk to porter's Mill, tapenhall pond mute swans,5 mallard, grey heron,others linnet flock and 15 Canada geese.
Other highlights 3 cettis warbler ( 1 seen just up from lock 5).Also had siskin in the alders with Goldfinch.
