A Barn Owl turned up relatively late this evening and perched on the viewing screen briefly before flying around Coney Meadow.
30+ Sand Martins roosted.
A Water Rail called.
A Muntjac came out of the reeds

Pair of Stonechats flycatching from the reeds. The male was singing constantly.

Male Marsh Harrier just circled Coney reedbed twice then headed in the direction of Westwood pool.

What a fantastic evening!
As well as the Marsh Harrier, a Barn Owl put in an appearance near the viewing screen just as the light was fading.
c25 Sand Martins came in to roost.
The pair of Stonechats showed well earlier on and the male was singing in the dark as I left.
