It was not easy for birders and ornithologists to make research in the DR Congo because of the wars and the conflicts. After 20 years it was now possible to photograph the Yellow-crested Helmet-shrike for the first time.

Lovely, can't help wondering at the fate of the bird in his hand though I presume, skins already exist?
