just seeking confirmation that this a Diederik Cuckoo. Taken in Kudu Hills Lodge in the Blue Mountain foothills, not too far from Kilimanjaro Airport.

Interesting bird,
Immature Diderik with that amount of barring and plain white throat but wing and face pattern say Klaas's?

I'm coming down on the side of male Klaas's with some retained juvenile wing feathers?

Note also the green at the top of the wing is extending to the upper breast corner which it doesn't in Diderik.
