Can anybody tell me where I can see dippers not too far from East Yorkshire.
I went to Wharfdale to day and saw nothing the river Wharfe was dry.
Many thanks.

Hi Stan,

Used to visit Bolton Abbey regularly when living up there. As Keith says, dippers were pretty common all along the Wharfe through that stretch, surprised you didn't get a hit. Another good location for Dippers is a bit further up along Wharfedale. There is a good riverside walk from Kettlewell to Buckden that should give you a good chance of this species (and a good deal of others!)

Good luck!
