These (bad) pictures are taken about 100 km east from Rio de Janeiro. The bird (about 18 to 22 cm or so) was hopping on the ground and on rocks. I have no idea which species it is....

House Wren
I think the jizz is not from a house... Als also not the size and the colour of the back. I've seen it flying from rock to rock and it seemed much bigger to me.... But I do understand that the Southern House Wren resembles the bird....
