Fatrat, Quacker & The Durham Owls (1 Viewer)

Don't want to steal Dave's (Fatrat) thunder but he will no longer need to question the existance of OwlsB :)

Indeed, there were over a dozen sightings of what was probably 3-5 different birds. A couple of times there were 3 in the air at the same time all at reasonable distance, i.e. no scope required.

All Short Eared Owls by the way, the Long Eared were well hidden and never came out to play and the idea of flushing them is/was wrong.

There will be a lack of pictures because in his excitment, Dave forgot to bring a memory card with a decent capacity. As a result I think he managed about 7 shots lol.

He must be thawing out as I thought they'd have been mentioned by now :t:

Edit: Ignore this slice of sarcasm - Dave has posted at exactly the same time on another thread

I agree with that David. I'm going twitching tomorrow. Great Grey Shrike, Falcated Duck and Northern Diver. What's the odds of getting all three.
