Have you all seen this paper?
I don't think this has been posted or discussed on birdforum. If it has, please direct me to the relevant page(s).
From the comparison photos it looks like these are very different birds and should be considered two species. Has anyone photos of live individuals?

I don't think it adds much to the taxonomic data that Ebels & Essaker published in Dutch Birding in 2022.

It is only mentioned in passing as a possible split by Mysticete.
 
I've heard both taxa and didn't notice any vocal differences, but my acoustic memory is not particularly good so I could easily be wrong.
