Golden Eagle Attacking People in Norway (1 Viewer)

Humans are just petulant whiny little animals who feel they have to retaliate in some sort of vendetta when one of their tribe is attacked or eaten, instead of being good mammals, accepting that once in a while there is some attrition or collateral damage and not making a big brouhaha about it. Possibly one should look at how many animals are killed for food, fun, trophy or boredom by humans every day. Often under truly repulsive circumstances.
I personally blame that nasty book which preaches we are the crown of creation living by the old motto dominium terrae.
Human sacrifice is overrated. Also - it has been proven to be ineffectual.

The general concensus according to the Norwegian press is that experts have concluded that this particular golden eagle (singular - there was only one) was used to contact with humans, and seeked human company and was not preying on people. For some reason the sensationalist press bureaus are not interested in reporting this fact. They prefer instead to report on eagles (plural) attacking people and trying to eat small children. Typical tactics to sell tabloid newspapers and get lots of hits on news stories. If they updated their news items with the facts then no-one would be interested. SW

When i was delivering news papers as a young boy i was often attacked by vicious dogs. I also remember i was bitten by a horse and a viper. Unfortunately i was also the victim of ants, mosquitoes and jellyfish. Onetime when jogging i was attacked by an owl. Later as an adult i was many times attacked by enormous and aggressive great black-backed gulls who tried to steal my fish and chips. I always defended my fish and chips within the borders of the law of war.
