Golden oriole in UK (1 Viewer)

Hi, I briefly recorded (east anglia, UK) what my Merlin bird app identified as a golden oriole. It wasn’t that close by and despite trying to find it and listening out for more song it didn’t reappear. Question is - is there anywhere I can check the validity of the recording e.g. spectrogram comparisons? Could the app have misidentified a particularly flutey sounding blackbird for example?

The app gets a lot right but some wrong too. Gave it a quick go in my Dad's garden in Cambs yesterday and it ID'd a juvenile Starling in flight as Red-legged Partridge

Probably blackbird.
There's absolutely no way that you can or should believe everything that Merlin tells you.
Welcome to BF 👍🏼
I don’t, that’s why I was checking . I’ve so far found it to be surprisingly accurate but this one threw me. Thank you
