Greeting my name is Sherwood Lincoln (1 Viewer)

Hi, my name is Sherwood Lincoln all photos are taken in Southeastern Ct. As an enthusiastic naturalist and outdoorsman, my life, as well as my career, has always revolved around hunting and fishing. At the same time, I have enjoyed feeding the birds, as well as admiring good bird art. So in 2013, at the age of 67, I walked into the digital age (albeit kicking and screaming), and have never looked back.
In 2014, I bought my first quality camera, a Canon SX50. I discovered the vast and diverse avian wildlife that live and traverse through my own backyard and around southeastern CT. If you are interested You can find some of my pictures on Flickr and Facebook. If you have been watching my bird photography you may know that I usually just post birds, I have decided to put other wildlife. Hope you like it.

As a naturalist, with ‘slight’ OCD, which has served me well when I photographed everything; but I tend to focus on birds. I am self-taught and my goal is to continually improve my skills while enjoying the beautiful flora and fauna.

My new camera as of 2018 is a Canon 5D Mark IV with a Sigma 24-105 Als0 a Canon 7D Mark II with a 100 to 400mm IS II zoom lens.

Hi Sherwood and a warm welcome from me too.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here. I hope to hear about all the birds you see when out and about and will hopefully be able to see some of your pictures in the Gallery too.
