Hi All,

Long-time lurker here, finally decided to join in the fun! Just a retired fellow with binoculars, a camera and audio recorder (occasional eBird poster) who likes to explore the local environment with my sweetie! I look forward to meeting you all!

Best, :)
Jimmy G

A warm welcome to you and your sweetie Jimmy.

I'm originally a 7th generation resident New Yorker but now live in Myrtle Beach. Enjoy your time with us ;}

Hi KC,

Thanks for the welcome! We'd considered joining the, er, "southward migration" on retiring but we decided we're too much in love with the changing seasons and NY winters with Bald Eagles on the Hudson River ice floes! I'm sure that coastal birding must be quite the rewarding adventure for you!

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I look forward to hearing your news.

Hi Delia,

Thanks for the warm welcome, I'm looking forward to sharing! How about we start things off right, here's one from yesterday at the West Point Foundry Park (historical site) in Cold Spring, NY of a Tree Swallow feeding one of their young...
