This month (July) I recorded the attached song on 白云山 (BaiYun Mountain) in Guangzhou at an elevation of about 300m. The bird stayed out of sight while singing at intervals of about 30 seconds, typically repeating the same high thin whistle followed by 2-4 lower notes as heard at the end of the recording. The area where the bird sang from was a mountain stream lined with bamboo.

Any help would be appreciated!
Mike
