Going to post a few photos of a birds in which we couldn’t get any colour on- try and guess what bird it is without the location, if it’s too difficult I’ll give a hint.

Nope but that’s what I would guess if I hadn’t seen the bird- the bills slightly longer for the birds size. I’ll give another hint- this was taken in Sussex.

No, but it was extremely fidgety like a flycatcher would be.

Yes that’s the correct answer- this photo was taken at iping, we managed to get pretty good views of the dartford but sadly they weren’t really photogenic. Possibly due to us going during the breeding season. This was the best photo we got and sadly it’s not very good.
