Hi all! We're on an Antarctic Cruise in mid-November this year. Any recommendations on guide books? Thanks!!

A trip to Antarctica sounds absolutely incredible. When it comes to guidebooks, I'd recommend checking out some travel classics like "Antarctica: An Intimate Portrait of a Mysterious Continent" by Gabrielle Walker or "The Worst Journey in the World" by Apsley Cherry-Garrard. They offer insights into the region's history, wildlife, and explorations.

To save the OP wondering...
"The Worst Journey in the World" by Apsley Cherry-Garrard
Astonishing book, but... not a guide book in any sense unless you need insight into how to survive the insane horror of a month-long mid-Antarctic-winter yomp in the dark.
