Help! Please help me i.d these gulls, photos taken in St. Lucia in January.
First photo I think is American Herring Gull. The bird was roosting with Royal Terns and was about the size of a Herring Gull. The second photo I think shows Laughing Gulls. Any help would be much appreciated.

The first bird looks more Lesser Black-backed Gull like than American Herring Gull whilst the birds on the boat are Laughing Gulls.
