Harrier ID question, SW Germany 09/2022 (1 Viewer)

Having seen what looked like an unambiguous Hen Harrier at a local wetland reserve in SW Germany in September of 2022, I was maybe a bit too cavalier in assuming the species identity of a distant individual soaring over the same spot two hours later, without taking as close a look as might have been warranted. I did take some pictures though. Looking at the images of the latter bird now, I'm wondering if I missed something or if it's just the angle. The images are not resized, but heavily cropped due to distance and size restrictions.
