Hello from Louisiana (1 Viewer)

Birding newbie here from south Louisiana and after lurking around for awhile, I am glad to become a part of this community. I enjoy astronomy, photography, and am now starting my new adventure in birding. I just purchased a Meopta Optika 8x42 binocular to start this new hobby and look forward to walking the many nearby conservation areas that give many opportunities to observe birds and other wildlife plus also get some much-needed exercise. I enjoy feeding and photographing hummingbirds in my backyard plus love watching the activity at my backyard birdfeeder.
I look forward to contributing and becoming a positive presence in this community.
