Recently joined the birdforum . Had a long spell away (years) from birding but am starting again.
Equipment has changed a lot and am now looking around to re-equip myself with gear.
Scope, bino's, tripod etc; but particularly interested in wanting to photograph birds.
Have found the forums very useful when considering equipment and have so far purchased a Canon EOS 350D camera based on members comments though rashly bought a 75-350 IS USM lens with it. Getting used to it before thinking about a prime/larger telephoto lens.
