Hello from Perthshire

Used to be really into birdwatching when I was young [could be called obsessed:-O] but over the years I kind of grew out of it.

Have horses now, and as you would expect, see a lot of birds etc around and about and it's rekindling my passion for them.

That's it I think

Hi Rhummy,

A warm welcome to BirdForum from all the Moderators and Admin. Glad to have you on board :t:

I am sure the obsession will return ;)

Thanks. Joined this board today because I saw a Northern Wheatear sitting on the fence posts of on my paddocks today - quite rare in these parts.

Hi Rhummy and a warm welcome from me too

Keep an eye on the Scottish Bash Discussion thread We usually have a few each year and they are all great fun. You'd be most welcome to join us if you can manage. The next one is in East Lothian at the end of May.

The thread for local sightings is Tayside Birding, we'd be really pleased if you add what you see to it. I see you've got a Wheatear now - great to hear they're back for the summer.
