Hey guys

I've come across a robin today on the road, she is hardly moving so can't fly far

I had a feeling she may be carrying eggs as she seemed quite big and not a baby robin but was not sure

We have seen the remnants of egg shell sticking out of her.

Not sure how to help her, she seems so helpless. We have left her outside on a box with no lid but she has left it twice so we are not putting her back in it

Any ideas how we can help her?

What can we give her to eat? She is not opening her beak and her eyes seem shut 20240316_115824.jpg

Welcome to Birdforum.

This might be helpful.

Thank you

She seems to have recovered, moving her head and flying a little more.

I went out a few minutes ago and can't see her. I rang a wildlife charity and they said she will probably die and to leave her in her environment. But i have high hopes now! ๐Ÿ˜Š

Hi birdie2024 and a warm welcome to you from all the Staff and Moderators. It sounds to me as if she's flown into a window or something and is feeling rather dizzy. She'll either fully recover or won't, and there's nothing we can do about it, except to keep her safe from cats etc.

I do hope she does recover, so please let us know what happens.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I look forward to hearing your news.
