Hi. A bird has started to appear on my feeder and I have never seen this variety before.

I managed to capture a short video and wondered if I could upload it. However its 21Mb long.

In the meantime I have a grainy photo of it.

It seems to have a longish beek, grey feathers all down back, orange/brown underbelly. And the underside of its tail has a white patch

Hi, welcome to the forum. I think you will find us a friendly and helpful group.

Hi Simon and a warm welcome from me too. I am still waiting for one to come to my garden!

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I hope to hear about all the birds you see when out and about.

BTW You can upload videos, but they need to be hosted elsewhere, such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram Tiktok, among others. There's a full list available if you click on the Media icon above the message pane (the one with a double image).

Funnily enough my wife spotted one on our feeder today, the first for 10+ years. Must be a Nuthatch Autumn! We're in Mid Hampshire UK btw
