Well-known member
All these pictures were taken in July 2016 at Desert National Wildlife Range, Nevada. I have a list of birds we saw and a lot of pictures and I am having difficulty with a few matching the photographs with my list.

1 Not sure Mourning Dove at the bottom of the picture
2 Not sure
3 Not sure
4 Coopers Hawk
5 Red Tailed Hawk

1.2.3 these are the only pictures I have.

Thanks

Mike.

3 Brown-headed Cowbird, immature
4 A Buteo species, not sure which
5 Cooper's Hawk, first-winter

Not sure on 1. 2 might be more Cowbirds, but not 100% sure (I'm struggling with size judgement on this, might be something else much smaller).

Agree with Say's Phoebe and I think Nutcracker is right with cowbirds in #2.

The buteo strikes me as one of the western red-tails.
