Hi birdforum
I know very little about wild birds other than they interest me and I love going to wildlife reserves and the like, birds being a big attraction. I recently saw a couple of nesting Osprey with their chick and managed to spot the dad in the act of catching a huge fish and depositing it in the nest for baby to devour. Brilliant. My mum was fascinated by wild birds. She was always noting unusual species in her garden and loved a bit of bird watching. She died last year and I would love to learn more about her interests in the quest to keep her memory alive.
I also have a pertinent question that has been driving me crazy for months now about blackbirds in my back garden but will post in another section as it's not really a "say hello" topic. Any help would be gladly welcomed.
Anyway "Hi!"
