... I'm also part of the hummingbird migration, and just joined yesterday. I live on a small farm and enjoy watching all the birds here, among them wild turkey, quail, red-tailed hawks, turkey vultures, purple martins, woodpeckers, goldfinches, cardinals, and many others I've yet to identify. But this time of year, it's the hummingbirds that dominate the yard, and I'm hoping to spot a Green Violet-ear some day. Besides learning more about birds in general, I also hope to learn a bit more about photographing birds too.
