I've been into photography of most genres for some time but never had the confidence to try bird photography....until recently. I've only been out a couple of times with the intention of shooting birds (with the camera!), but have found it thoroughly enjoyable and challenging but have had some reasonable results. I've also met some very helpful and friendly 'birders' along the way. So, I am looking forward to developing the bird photography skills and embracing the connection with nature that you established birders enjoy. I have already posted on the forum asking for advice identifying some birds and have had a very helpful response.
