It's possible it's Hainan but it could well be Chinese Blue - there seems to be a lighter-coloured strip in the centre of the throat. Do you have any more images?

I'm sure there was a similar bird from KK posted here not long ago.

No I have no other photo, this little bird did not want to stay longer on its branch.

I thought this image looked familiar. Back in January raoul84 posted the same bird in a slightly different pose: Kaeng Krachan November - Chinese, hill, Hainan, blue throated blue flycatcher. I'm now not sure that the two photos in that thread show the same individual though.

I did not see that my friend had put the bird in the identification. It is indeed the same bird.
