Hoopoe in south Dorset (1 Viewer)

That's a relief, to know we won't get hordes of people hoping to see it.
i'm within walking distance so might check it out this afternoon, is there access?
i don't think you will get huge numbers of people interested as there have been so many others around

Had about a dozen so far today. I haven't seen it, but someone said it had been seen at 08.30. One of the anglers got a picture of it a day or so ago after it got under his car. Someone had info about it hanging out in the adjacent orchard that belongs to Dr Jon Orrel, the local green party councillor.

Seems to have moved on! Not seen it today. Appologies to anyone who missed it! Most rarities are only seen one day at a time, e.g. Black Kite, Stork, Spoonbill, Osprey.
