Claude Fowler Camburn (fl.1902) was a taxidermist and skinner for Witherby in Kenya (1901) and the Congo (1906). He was in the party led by Mackinder that collected on and climbed Mount Kenya (1899). He was a partner in a nursery garden in Kent until the partnership was dissolved (1918).

Looks like he is born c. 1876 Bow, Middlesex, England here. Maybe get his full life dates here? Here as...

Can you find any directory listings for Claude Fowler Camburn (1875-1945). In 1911 census he was with Edwin as a nurseryman in Hextable, Swanley Junction and when he enlisted in the army in 1916 he was listed as a market grower and entered the Royal Army Veterinary Corps. He married in 1926 Maude Evelyn Doyle (1876-1941) in Yorkshire (where his wife lived at the time of the marriage). In 1941 he and his wife were living at Hull,98 Firehall Road, Hawley (near Dartford, Kent). Claude died Oct 26,1945 at the Torbay Hospital, Torquay Devon but his residence was given in probate records as 98 Firehall Rd, Hawley.
