... Lepidoptera are much more interesting. There are more Lepidoptera species in Europe than bird species in the world ! I live in Germany and I'm responsible for Lepiforum, who deals with (primarly) European butterflies and moth. Every species of Europe has her own species page. And when I looked for more informations on Heliothela ophideresana on Crete Heliothela ophideresana - LepiWiki - I found an old notice on birdforum ! So I will be here not for the last time ...

Hi Erwin and a warm welcome to you from all the Staff and Moderators. We have quite a few lepidopterists on the forum, I'm sure you'll come across some of them soon.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I look forward to hearing your news.

Welcome Erwin! I am both a bird and butterfly watcher... being a later riser, in many years I've focused more on insects than birds. Although in the past couple years, I decided to sacrifice some sleep to see more birds.

Hi, welcome to the forum. I think you will find us a friendly and helpful group.
