Several days ago I have observed these birds. I took several photos but the distance was to big to get a clear image. The birds are looking to me as being Sanderling but I never saw these birds in the area.

Could you, please, let me have your opinion about what these birds are?

Thank you Lou for the quick answer. I would appreciate if you could tell me how you determined there are Little Stints. Is it normal to see these birds on river Olt near Brasov at this time of the year?

yes, not unusual. long legs, structured (not plain) upperparts, very small size, compact built, grey outer tail feathers...
