Hi, This solitary bird was sighted first in November at a beach near an estuary in northern kerala, India and is still regularly seen there. It was suspected to be an isabelline shrike at first due to the pale colouration and rufous tail. It did not have the white patch in the wing. The tail appeared less graduated and generally had a more shy disposition than brown shrike. Confused as to whether it is a brown or isabelline. thanks for any help.
