ID my bunting? Spremberger Talsperre, Germany (2 Viewers)

Hello, can anyone confirm which bunting(s) I saw today? On farmland near a reservoir in north-eastern Germany.

Going by my bird guide, it looks more like an immature yellowhammer (beak doesn't look heavy or pinkish to me, though that could be angle/light). But in the zoomed-out photo, all the birds in the tree look similar (no obvious adult yellowhammers).

Hi Henry,

yes these are definitely corn buntings. They are usually quite distinctive due to their size and "bulky" appearance.

Also in some you can see the 'black spot' in the centre of the chest where the markings fuse ...
