Any idea what this is? It was rather large, might be a green heron from the pictures. Taken today.

Hope you don't mind but I lightened one of your images to see if it would help with and I D. I'm not getting a Green Heron feel for this but I may be wrong

Yeah, it's a strange one. Seems to have a long beak.

Yeah, I think you're right. The more I look at this bird.

Gull of some kind for me also. Certainly not a Green Heron.
