Kill deer nest (1 Viewer)

We found a kill deer bird nest a few days ago. We just had a rainstorm and now the eggs are sitting in water. Do we just leave them there?

Hi LD and a warm welcome to you from all the Staff and Moderators. Yes, it's always best to leave things alone in nature (unless the problem has been caused by humans). It's an awful hard thing to do though.

Weather real bad right now here in Louisiana. No electricity. My thoughts are on the poor bird and the nest of eggs.

Went check on the eggs just in time to catch them hatching. 2 of the little birds were running around. Could get a good picture with the adult bird going nuts.
