Hi folks
I needs some advice. I am on an escorted tour of SA in September. We will have a "free" day in the Kruger region and I would like to use this for some specific birding. Can anyone shed any comments and advice on possible guides.
Thanks in advance

I don't know of anyone personally. One of the tour groups that operate in Kruger Park (find on the web) probably does, or could do, a birding day. There is also this independent guide (about whom I know nothing but you could contact him and see what he has to say) :

Casper Badenhorst is a free-lance bird guide stationed in Hoedspruit adjacent to the Kruger National Park in the Limpopo Province of South Africa. Casper guides birders in the world famous Kruger National Park, the riverside forests along the Blyde-river Canyon and the Afro-montane forests of Mariepskop and Magoebaskloof. Other destinations include the Lebombo mountains of Swaziland, coastal forests of Northern Kwazulu-Natal and the grass- and wetlands of Wakkerstroom.
