Leaf Warbler India (1 Viewer)

The field guides of the Indian Subcontinent (Grimmett and Inskipp) or the Birds of South Asia (Rasmussen and Anderton) will normally suffice.
If not, you can check pictures on birds of the world / ebird.

Using Inskipp & Grimmett, of course it helps. Looking for Leaf Warbler specific field book. Will check for Rasmussen and Anderton.
Thanks a lot.

Thank you so much. Here, in our part Warblers are much lesser studied and identification becomes much challenging. Hope , this will help.
I usually try to ID Asian leaf warblers based on:
1. song / ID features / behaviour and self-made pictures in the field;
2. distribution / altitude. If there is one good thing about ebird hotspots, it's the occurence / bar charts, so it's easy to check your field data with what others have seen in the area, so you have a grip on what's rare and what's common. It really helps to rule out some species that have a distribution map all over the Himalayas for example, while they actually only occur in certain parts / at certain altituted most commonly.
3. pictures online. Some field guides are quite good (like the Rasmussen guide, but the Inskipp is quite good as well), but pictures often provide just a bit more that can aid ID.
