FYI, the Zeiss 8x30 SFL rainguard fits my Leica 8x32 BA fairly well. It's not very tight, but will not come off due to it's own weight.
 
You do know you can order an 8x32 BN/BA ocular cover from Leica?
Of course, however I prefer not to buy things known to break. The SFL cover is more robust. That being said I don't believe the SFL cover is available for separate purchase at this time, but may be in the future for those who may be interested.

Good grief, I've been using the same 8x32 BN ocular cover for the last 16 years. Hard use. It's not failed yet. I'd suggest you got a bad one.
