Little Blue Heron or Reddish Egret White Morph (or something else)? (1 Viewer)

Hey All,

I am located in the Dominican Republic. Bird was seen yesterday.

I have seen white morph reddish egrets in the area before, but I also know that Little Blues are fairly common as well.

This bird was standing motionless for a long period of time (so I didn't see any erratic, sprinty, reddish egret behavior.)

What do you think? I am also a fairly novice birder, so I might be wrong about both options, but the bill coloring to me pointed this direction--no yellow lores to suggest snowy.

Reddish egret for me based on shaggy plumes and [esp] reddish base of bill
