Good morning Bird Forum, greetings from Colchester (UK).
My family and I really enjoy listening to the birdsong in our garden, but often it is too cold to leave the windows open to get the full effect. I am planning to rig up a microphone on the exterior wall and then run an audio wire through the wall into the kitchen to connect to a speaker with on/off volume control. I hope this will allow us to enjoy the bird song and sounds all through the year.
Has anyone installed a similar arrangement before, and if so do you have any tips?
