Loch of The Lowes Ospreys 2010 (2 Viewers)

actually she aint back yet. To be honest i canna see for that branch. Where is she? Dont want another friday scenario when she went away for 40 minutes.

sighs i.m gonna got some sleep. Or watch the owl cam. Can't believe how much they've grown since saturday. Their faces are even bigger and twice as noisy. Notice mum isn't there. But i think thats normal.

We've been to Kielder today, and were able to watch their osprey family - three chicks - on the webcam in various places.
The chicks are doing well, although not as large as LoL chicks. This is the second year for the ospreys in Northumberland, and we are immensely proud of them.

Having said that, I hold the LoL family close to my heart; this week-end has been so dramatic. The photograph in today's Telegraph showed Lady almost near to death! But miracles can happen, and it's a joy to see her active on the nest again. Fingers crossed that she'll gather strength.

you have every right to be proud june. Did i tell you i put a link up on the lotl about your red kites. :) hope you don't mind

Now that the youngsters are looking big and healthy, when are they expected to fledge the nest??
Mark somebody may have answered just working my way through the 2 pages of posts as I was unable to geton tonight until a wee while ago.
They expect them to fledge between 8th and 16th July however in a much earlier post I was going for an early fledge the way they were growing so I think nearer the 8th.

Thanks all for keeping the posts rolling in was unable to keep up to date today so great catching up. Amazing number of posts. Glad all is still going well and improving health continues.

I was just on the webcam and it's still on the nightcam; I couldn't see Marge there at all, but it was not something I wanted to panic about. And I couldnt' see much of anything! But it's gradually getting lighter and it really looked like she was gone! Then I checked Cam 2 and it looks like Marge is sitting on the perch!!! I hope that's really a current live shot, can't imagine what else it could be. In a way, I wish she were getting a good nap, but it's good to see her so mobile etc. Time for breakfast! She's calling you, 7Y!
