I`ve seen Andy in action, IN MY BACK GARDEN,he photographed starlings who usually pose for me, so laid back he even had a fag on the go whilst taking pix and giving me the benefit of his experience, Go Andy Go !!!

Cigarette if you don't mind, Martin.... this is a worldwide forum and we wouldn't want members in the U.S. getting the wrong idea about me (that would really be impressive!) 3:)
I don't smoke for my own enjoyment..... just that the smoke helps to soften the hard light of the sun ;)

Thanks again to everyone for the kind words.

Its a lovely picture, I`m very envious. Unfortunately, I have held one of these beautiful tiny birds in my hand - it was dead. Somehow it had got into our shed and not been able to get out again, and had obviously starved to death, we found it behind some junk up against the window, I was very upset, poor little thing, what a horrible way to go.

Very well done Andy!! What an impressive little fellow. I really like how the camera often can see things that we cannot.

That is one nice picture.

I have thoroughly enjoyed seeing all your pictures on your webpage.

BTW. Do "tits" (the birds) appear in North America? Thye are quite facsinating.
