Hi all, can anyone recommend a UK stockist for spares. The screw/knob used to tighten centre column had snapped. It's a Manfrotto 055XV. I've trawelled through the Manfrotto Spares website but can't find right item. Any info would be appreciated.

Dave

Hi Di, called Morris and they couldn't help, however they were very very helpful and gave me the correct number for Manfrotto, so up shot is that the part are ordered and in the post. Many thanks for the help.

Regards and good birding

Hello Dave

I lost one of the tightening knobs on my Manfrotto Head, I replaced it with a butterfly nut from a well known ironmonger in Sherringham (Norfolk) who informed me he had lots of similar requests from tripod users. The butterfly nut cost 30p and I'm still using it.

Hi Robert, thanks for that info. I managed to get a psare from manfrotto but because of their min order value I now have 3 of the things!! (strange procedure)

Hi,

For your reference, Studio 1 Ltd is now the official Manfrotto and Gitzo service and spare parts centre. Please see http://www.manfrottospares.com/

Thanks

Most useful and timely information for me.

When out this morning I noticed that the rubber ring buffer on my Manfrotto 393 gimbal head was missing - meaning that there's a risk of damaging my lens if I forget to tighten the clamp nuts when changing extenders. A new rubber ring is now on order.
